All subdivision in NSW requires a development consent. Strata Plans are not exempt from this requirement. If you look at a strata plan there will be a certificate from a registered surveyor and a certificate from either the Local Council or from an Accredited Certifier.

Newer Strata Certificates show the relevant consent within the certificate.

In certain circumstances strata subdivision is complying development.

If you require a strata certificate get in touch with our team at LandPartners.
